What Advice Do You Have For Someone Starting Out In Radiology?

I would recommend going for radiation therapy after you complete your radiation tech program. I may even suggest just going straight into radiaction therapy instead of going the radiology tech route.

Radiology and radiography are not two totally seperate things but fall under the broad category of radiology. Radiography is part of that.

Just for the record, I am a radiology tech who wishes he had gone directly into radiation therapy instead.

FYI - you will still have to go full time for 2 years to get into radiation therapy, even if you are a rad tech first. If radiation therapy is what you want to do, why not go directly into that?

Radiology and radiography aren't "totally different" - radiology is a broad term for the entire medical specialty; radiography is one part of that.
